I haven’t got a problem sharing most of my knowledge as long as there’s a reason for me to do so (search engine benefit, knowledge exchanged in return, or some other benefit).

But you have to watch the moochers who will try to take something for nothing. That’s a huge problem that way. I figure as far as giving vs. receiving, I’m at about a 10:1 ratio myself.
