Intriguing last thought: "How would government change if budget committees published these numbers visually instead of numerically?" I haven't had time to browse around the site you linked, but it seems they have other visual data sets as well. Makes me want to do something more visual next time I have to do a presentation as well. Hmmm.. This techno semi-literate is going to have to look into programs for that kind of stuff.
